I have never been this emotional while writing a piece. It’s been 7 years of sweet moments and memories as a blogger. Yaaaaay! It’s also my first time of making a special post to celebrate the sweet souls who make WordPress a sanctuary of sort for me.
I have shared how rough and tough 2020 was for me; how I was hopeless, helpless and homeless for months, but I must say that the amazing family and friends I met here made me sail through that stormy season without drowning in depression.
During my downtime, I read a lot of inspiring and uplifting pieces that made me discover the beauty and blessings of adversity. It’s comforting to know that someone is here to read my teardrops in word.
I started 2020 with over 100 followers but now, my WordPress family has gotten bigger and stronger.
With every notification of a new follower I get, I see an amazing being with distinct skills, expertise, experiences, ideas and viewpoints, having something valuable to lend and learn. This is not about having stats and figures to flaunt, but a family to do life with.
I started blogging to share my heart and art with others, to inspire and encourage them. I never knew that it’s going to be a safe space that will give me solace, succour and strength someday.
I’m grateful to you all for being a part of my blogging journey so far, especially those who gave me their shoulder to lean on. I’m grateful for every single like, comment, share and reblog. I feel encouraged by your engagements with my blog and every single post.
This platform has helped me to achieve the following:
Be a blessing to people through written and spoken words.
Connect with fantastic people from different countries and co-write articles with great minds.
Be a better writer, content creator and communicator.
Share of the wisdom, wonders and wealth of fellow bloggers through their contents.
Thank you all once again for your engagements and encouragement. As my way of celebrating you all, I am giving out a free copy of my new book Whispers of Winners (Daily Edition) to all my friends. Download it here.
Feel free to share your thoughts about my blog in the comment sections. Cheers to many more love, lines and landmarks. Thank you.
Words shape our world. The kind of words you speak to people can make them cheerful or feel awful. Your soul needs the right words to attract bliss and blessings. Make it a point of duty to say beautiful things over your life this always. Say these over your life: This year will be my best […]Declaration of Victory – Day 2
I thought I was going to die after losing all my savings to a fraudster on the 18th of September, 2020. It seems everyone learnt something the hard way this year.
After this incident, I became broken, bitter, hopeless, and homeless. It was the beginning of a draining and devastating wilderness journey. It felt as if all the forces of life was against me. I couldn’t feel myself for weeks.
I have always believed that rock bottom is a place of recovery and discovery, but I must confess that it’s hard to focus when one is going through the flood and flames of life. I began to look for ways to get justice.
I disconnected myself from almost everyone; I couldn’t bear the pain of explaining how stupid I was to my friends. The most devastating part of it was that, eighty percent of those I shared my pain with couldn’t help, some even acted like they don’t care.
It was then that God caught my attention and started speaking to me. The most assuring word He gave me was, “You were not defrauded; you were delivered.”
Well, I had no other option than to trust the only One who never left me in that stormy season.
My hope of getting justice quickly was dashed as the court where the case was to be heard got burnt during the EndSars protest in Nigeria. I became more devastated and had to take leave from work.
After a while, I started studying the Bible more and spent more time in prayers. Then I began to discover the power of faith backed up with the spoken word. I was inspired to start speaking ‘restoration with compensation’ into existence. After a while, I got approached by the superior of the agent that defrauded me. They decided to have an out-of-court settlement.
On the 18th of December, 2020, exactly three months after I was defrauded, I got my money back. God is faithful, and yes, He hears the whispers of winners!
I know a lot of people may have suffered some form of loss/defeat, and trusting God for recovery and victory.
After the traumatic experience, I was inspired to write a book of daily declaration of victory, Whispers of Winners (Daily edition). This book is inspired by God, and I believe that it will help every user to maximize the power of the spoken word. It is not just a compilation of positive declarations, but a faith-booster for unlimited victory.
Words are powerful tools for complete and permanent victory. However, words are powerless without faith! Faith gives our words wings to fly.
Faith brings confirmations out of affirmations
Faith brings precious possessions out of confessions
Faith helps us to take delivery of our declarations
Faith brings evidence out of expectations
Faith is the magnet of supernatural manifestation.
As you use this book, speak with faith in your heart and pay attention to the divine signals and triggers, God will give you specific instructions, write them down and take prompt action. I trust that this book will be your visa to unending victory in Jesus name.
Happy new year to you all. Thank you for being a great part of my blog this year. Kindly share my new book with your friends. Thank you.
2020 started with high hopes and beautiful dreams, we all couldn’t wait to achieve our Vision2020.
Then Covid came, and it crushed the beautiful plans and projections of many folks. Widespread protest shootings and lootings disrupted many dreams; not forgetting the total lockdown and how it locked down many businesses.
This year has been different strokes for different folks but, no matter what life has thrown at you, there is a reason to be grateful for life.
Stop swimming in sorrow when happiness is free; pay attention to the blessings within you, the beauty around you and the brighter days ahead of you.
Give thanks for the good days, when smiles and sweetness flood your soul.
When great testimonies and songs of praises fill your mouth.
Give thanks for the hard days, when troubles and trials tear your heart apart. When it’s hard to wake up and you feel like giving up the fight.
Give thanks for friends and family, for fathers, mothers, sons and daughters, everyone that reminds you that love is all that matters.
Give thanks for foes and frienemies, those who hate and hurt you for known and unknown reasons; because the stones they throw at you are your stepping stones to greater heights.
Give thanks for daily benefits, for weekly bonuses and monthly incomes. Be grateful for the businesses and career that put food on your table.
Give thanks for the heartbreaking emails and the painful loses. Be grateful for the pay cut and unpaid debts; knowing that every closed door is a redirection to bigger and better possibilities.
Give thanks for the raindrops falling from the skies, and for the teardrops falling from your eyes. Knowing that your secret storms and the fiery furnace of life are blessings in disguise.
Give thanks for every weakness and brokenness that makes you run to God for help, and for every fear and frustration that makes you fall on your knees to pray.
Give thanks, for God, is your strength and your salvation, the One who gives you rest and restoration, Be grateful for His redemption and revelation, and how He delivered your soul from destruction.
Give thanks, that despite the pandemic and the pain ravaging our world, God has been your sanitizer. His blood is the greatest vaccine that killed every virus on the cross of Calvary.
Give thanks for everything that came against you to steal your joy and peace, for they remind you that God is the prince of peace.
Give thanks for the valley of the shadow of death, and for the tunnels that remind you that God is with you, as a mighty and merciful One who will never leave nor forsake you.
Give thanks, for all things bright and beautiful, and for everything that made you sad and sorrowful, knowing fully well, that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord, who are called according to His purpose.
Give thanks, because you still have greater victories to win, bigger territories to take, better stories to write and more mountains to conquer. I know the journey is tough and you are thirsty, but whether your cup is half-full or half-empty, be grateful that you cup that’s not empty. Drink what you have and be joyful.
Give thanks to the Lord, always, and again I say, give thanks.
Hey friends, I believe that you’ve been inspired to be grateful. Share three things you are grateful for in the comment section. Thank you for reading.

Appreciation is not merely an alluring attitude, it’s an application for more allocation.
Hurray! It’s the season for gratitude, giving, and gathering with a lot of turkeys to grab and grub. It may feel like there is nothing much to be grateful for because of the man twists and turns of 2020. Your Thanksgiving celebration plans might be a bit different because of Covid, you don’t need a masterplan to make a masterpiece...
Whether you’ll be celebrating with your family or maybe you’ll be spending the holiday all by yourself.
Don’t let the lockdown make your frown, do all you can to reflect, relax and rejoice. It’s Thanksgiving!
Amid the strange storms I have face this year, what is there to be thankful for?
I am thankful for many things: I published my first book this year, I had my biggest financial breakthrough ever, though I was betrayed by a friend and I lost everything. Rock bottom becamee a place of discovery and recovery for me. I now spend more time to read and engage in personal development programs. I am still believing God for rest, restoration and compensation, but I am thankful for His love, light and all the blessings of life.
I am particularly thankful for new friends and family on WordPress. You all sprinkle loads of sweetness with your warm words. I decided to share my Thanksgiving poem with y’all since I can’t share some grilled turkey with you due to social distancing (winks).
Thank You Lord
For the beauty that eyes cannot see,
For the blessings of glow and glee
For life’s bliss so fill and free
Thank You, dear God.
For yearly doses of hope and delight,
For daily loads of love and light,
For tranquil desires at twilight,
Thank You, dear God.
For the strength to run life’s race,
For smiles garnished with grace
For warmth in every embrace.
Thank You, dear God.
For lifted spirits during the lockdown,
for converting every cross to crown,
For raising us when we fall,
Thank You, dear God.
For sunlight and refreshing raindrops
For sweetness wrapped in teardrops,
For the harvest of cash and crops,
Thank You, dear God.
For good health in Covid-19 pandemic,
For meals that heal and life’s tonic,
For saving us from pain and panic,
Thank You, dear God.
