Declaration of Victory Day 18

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7 For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding Proverbs 2:6 Declare this I have an unction from the Holy One, I know all thingsI declare and decree that the fear of the LORD is […]

Declaration of Victory Day 18

A Letter To My Crush

Dear crush, it seems we have been avoiding deep conversations since we started catching feelings for each other. There are a lot of things I wished I could say to you directly but I am afraid that you will cut off this beautiful bond between us.

So, I am breaking this silence with my keypad and notepad, attempting to tell you that I love you, and my love for you is pure and perfect – a slice of paradise.

However, there are things I may do or say that will hurt you temporarily, and there are things I may refuse to do or say that will make you doubt my love for you.

I am an imperfect man on a quest for perfection and full resurrection, yes resurrection.

My heart was broken, burned and buried by some of the ‘friends’ that occupied it in the past

I have lost touch with the reality of romance because the fragrance of my heart was polluted with the flame of falsehood, betrayal and deception.

I have loved the wrong people the right way and loved the right people the wrong way because my emotions were bereft of purity and godly purposes.

My love was blind because it lacked the Light of God. My love was dead because it lacked the life of Christ. I was looking for love in the wrong places – filling the God-shaped hole in my heart with the pleasures of this world.

All my previous displays of affection were born out of a distasteful desire – to fulfil the lust of the flesh. Although I tried to do what was right, but I was on the wrong side of morality and far from divinity.

At a point in time, depression began to set in, I drowned deeply in the ocean of frustration. While jumping from one random relationship to another, I found myself in the valley of the shadow of death, but the love of God was reckless, excess and limitess enough to find me.

God came running after me to rescue me. He lighted up every shadow, and whispered to me, “Dear son, death is swallowed up in victory”.
He transported me from the valley of the shadow of death to the mountain of the rainbow of life.

God added flavour and colour to my life, and now I can boldly say that I am salt and light to my world. I was rescued for such a time as this and ransomed for a treasure like you.

Dear crush, I am growing and healing fast, and I am trying not to go back to the pit God pulled me from and the sins He saved me from.

So, I may not say all the things you want me to say or do all you want me to do but I can guarantee you that if you allow God’s love to find expression in your heart and our friendship, we will do life together and love each other as Christ loved the church…

In the meantime, let’s flow in faith, fun and friendship. I hope this is not as complicated as you thought it would be.

From Grave to Garden – My 2020 Story

I thought I was going to die after losing all my savings to a fraudster on the 18th of September, 2020. It seems everyone learnt something the hard way this year.

After this incident, I became broken, bitter, hopeless, and homeless. It was the beginning of a draining and devastating wilderness journey. It felt as if all the forces of life was against me. I couldn’t feel myself for weeks.

I have always believed that rock bottom is a place of recovery and discovery, but I must confess that it’s hard to focus when one is going through the flood and flames of life. I began to look for ways to get justice.

I disconnected myself from almost everyone; I couldn’t bear the pain of explaining how stupid I was to my friends. The most devastating part of it was that, eighty percent of those I shared my pain with couldn’t help, some even acted like they don’t care.

It was then that God caught my attention and started speaking to me. The most assuring word He gave me was, “You were not defrauded; you were delivered.”
Well, I had no other option than to trust the only One who never left me in that stormy season.

My hope of getting justice quickly was dashed as the court where the case was to be heard got burnt during the EndSars protest in Nigeria. I became more devastated and had to take leave from work.

After a while, I started studying the Bible more and spent more time in prayers. Then I began to discover the power of faith backed up with the spoken word. I was inspired to start speaking ‘restoration with compensation’ into existence. After a while, I got approached by the superior of the agent that defrauded me. They decided to have an out-of-court settlement.

On the 18th of December, 2020, exactly three months after I was defrauded, I got my money back. God is faithful, and yes, He hears the whispers of winners!
I know a lot of people may have suffered some form of loss/defeat, and trusting God for recovery and victory.

After the traumatic experience, I was inspired to write a book of daily declaration of victory, Whispers of Winners (Daily edition). This book is inspired by God, and I believe that it will help every user to maximize the power of the spoken word. It is not just a compilation of positive declarations, but a faith-booster for unlimited victory.

Words are powerful tools for complete and permanent victory. However, words are powerless without faith! Faith gives our words wings to fly.

Faith brings confirmations out of affirmations
Faith brings precious possessions out of confessions
Faith helps us to take delivery of our declarations
Faith brings evidence out of expectations
Faith is the magnet of supernatural manifestation.

As you use this book, speak with faith in your heart and pay attention to the divine signals and triggers, God will give you specific instructions, write them down and take prompt action. I trust that this book will be your visa to unending victory in Jesus name.

Follow Whispers of Winners on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, as my team will be sharing daily affirmations every day. Also, special monthly declarations will be live on Anchor Fm.

Happy new year to you all. Thank you for being a great part of my blog this year. Kindly share my new book with your friends. Thank you.

Authentic Audacity

Everyone is wired to win,
but pain is a part of the package
Everyone is beautiful within,
and every mess passes a message.

2020 has been a year of countless shades of grey and grace for a lot of people around the world. Some folks believe that it’s a year of strange storms that had turned warriors to worms.

My friends, whatever the atmosphere around you looks like, I believe that you will certainly set your emotions in motion to cause a positive shift if you ignite the forces of faith within you.

The forces of fear will tell you loud lies but it’s up to you to either retreat or reply with timeless truths. Whenever the storms of life and the shadows of death show up to shut you down, be audacious!

Don’t stay silent,
speak to the wind and the waves,
tell them that you are unsinkable.
Speak to fear and failure,
tell them that you are unbeatable.
Speak to sorrow and stress,
tell them that you are unbreakable.
Speak to losses and limitations,
tell them that you are unstoppable.

If you get weak or weary, feel free to rest, reset, re-strategize, relaunch and reach for greatness, but don’t be tempted to quit the quest. You are made to manifest, you are created to conquest.

I am glad to inform you that you are a carrier of authentic audacity, and this kind of audacity often gets amplified by adversity.

Life is scripted to be a potpourri of pains and pleasure. There will be highs and lows, whispers and roars, many many shades of shadow. However, you are a key player in this theatre called life. Your heart is the centre stage and the world is your audience. Everything on earth can hear and heed your commands.

Speak to your storm, and sail steadily. You will win.

Make it a habit to speak victory all the time. I recommend that you get a copy of Whispers of Winners, a compilation of positive affirmations that attract all-around victory.

Borrow No Sorrow

Whether you are on the mountain,
basking in bliss, blessings and beauty
or you feel stuck in the valley of pain,
seeking an exit route out of adversity.

Don’t be defined by your condition,
you are a boundless mobile miracle.
Don’t be deterred by stormy situations,
locate opportunities in every obstacle.

There is a flaming faith inside of you,
it’s potent enough to melt mountains.
There is a balm flowing inside of you,
it’s strong enough to heal intense pains.

Maximize your pain to make a profit,
don’t wallow in worries, it’s pointless.
Stir up the dizzy giants in your spirit,
look up and within, you’re not helpless.

It takes crushing to make a new wine,
see adversity as an added advantage.
It takes burning for the sun to shine,
Pain is part of the colourful package.

Don’t borrow sorrow from tomorrow,
there is a river of joy within you.
The God who provides for the sparrow
places a higher premium on you.

Hugs and Handshakes

In a world of pressure and pain,
We need doses of healing and hope.
In a world of struggles and strain,
We need doses of courage to cope.

In a world of flame, fury and flood,
We need doses of rest and restoration.
In a world of bullets, bars and blood,
We need doses of and affection.

In a world of fears and frustration,
We need doses of hug and handshakes.
In a world of death and destruction,
We need doses affection and all it takes.

It is believed that hugs may not only have healing powers, but actually help protect against stress and negative emotions caused by interpersonal conflict.

When people continually commit to interpersonal touch such as hugs and handshakes, it oftentimes improve their sense of wellbeing and leads to healthy relationships.

Today, lend a hand of healing and hope to someone in distress. Save a soul, someone needs your touch to survive and thrive.

If you can’t use your hands, use your head, if you can’t use your head, use your heart, we all have what it takes to make the world a better place. Cognition, compassion and character count!

Dealing With Depression

I have been there before – the valley of death where men get seared without smelling like smoke; no scar or bruises to show that you are burning down emotionally.

I was depressed for many years, and I can tell the taste of hopelessness especially when it is cooked with fear, failures and frustration. Many years in the dungeon of deep depression, far beyond feeling, I came face-to-face with a force that turns physical giants to emotional ants.

Depression defies definition, it goes beyond expression. Don’t try to define it.

No one snaps out of depression. However, no matter how cancerous it may be, it is fixable. Depression is not a death sentence.

Unlike sadness, depression is not a symptom, it’s a systemic disorder that defies physical strength, material wealth, social status and intelligence.

It’s a heated hole that needs to filled and chilled with affection, right association and medical attention as the case may be. Depressed individuals need more than healing, they need to find the meaning of their miseries, and that meaning and deal with its roots

According to mayorclinic.org, depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest and can interfere with human’s daily functioning. In as much as this definition may not fully capture what depression is all about, it indicates that depression is a disorder.

You can’t tell a depressed person to just snap out of it, but you can help them walk out of it as a winner. I will like to share certain facts that you need to know about depression and how to walk out of it. Let’s go on a poetic cruise.

Depression is difficult to define,
It’s clearly beyond not feeling fine.
A depressed person may feel nothing
But weep within about everything.

Depression has deep dimensions,
it goes beyond facial expressions.
A depressed man can still smile
while his faith gets more fragile.

Depression clearly isn’t sadness,
It’s the grave of guts and gladness.
A depressed man isn’t really weak,
He is tired of trying not to be weak.

Depression is pain without purpose,
It’s a thorn that reeks just like a rose.
A depressed man basks in bitterness
Yet swims in the stream of sweetness.

Depression is beyond what and why.
Do you ask onions why people cry?
Depression is a system, not a symptom.
Dealing with it requires great wisdom.

Depression is beyond being emotional,
To get better requires being intentional.
Despair has an end, don’t quit trying,
That death-voice in your head is lying…

Depression is more like a secret storm,
It makes a strong man live like a worm.
Despair doesn’t kill, helplessness does.
Seek help, speak out, silence that buzz.

How and Where To Get Help

Help is always available but you must be willing to be reachable and vulnerable. Get access to the right people or give access to the right people
Here are a few other tips.

If depression is a disorder, then it means the ‘disrupted’ order needs to be restored.

In the beginning of creation, the earth was without form and void, darkness covered the whole earth – depression look-alike. But God commanded light and order into the void and dark world.

Turning to God in prayer will set the foundation for healing. However, healing from depression is a process that requires human connection, affection and medical attention in some cases. A depressed person may need to see an emotions doctor. Below are a few tips that can also help:

Depression is not a death sentence. It is a mental health issue that can be solved, cured and defied. Don’t die trying to be strong all by yourself. Live out loud, love out loud, lead out loud.
