Unashamed – A Poem

Dear friend,

No matter how far you have gone,
No matter the wrongs you’ve done
God’s love for you is great and excess
He is still merciful in your weakness.

He is running after you with His grace
He will accept you with a warm embrace,
Come back home just the way you are
God’s love is mighty to heal every scar.

No sin is too big for God to forgive
Jesus died to free every captive,
His blood has cleansed every stain
His power has broken every chain.

Come lay down the burdens of sin
Come and be cleansed from within
Come receive power to win every fight
Come into this kingdom of love and light.

Come boldly to the throne of God,
and be washed in His cleansing flood.
Come to the field of loved untamed,
Come live free, lifted and unashamed.

My Secret Place – A Poem

Come explore my secret place
and I’ll show you my scars,
flaming letters written, signed
and sealed with teardrops.

Journey with me into the night
and I will be your sunshine
redeeming the times with rays
of hope, faith and love.

I’m a soldier seeking no safe space,
this bleeding body is holy ground,
this sanctuary is a battlefield,
I offer sweet worship in warships.

This life can’t be taken, it’s eternal,
in the crushing, I become new wine,
in the burning, I become pure gold,
and in death, I turn grave to a garden.

I am lustrous light, sacred salt,
dispensing divine flavour and colours.
I’m the type of sun that burns to shine,
brewing healing and hope in oceans deep.

So come explore my secret place
and I’ll show you my scars,
the sacred tapestry of my victories
in the valley of pernicious shadows.

Love Won’t Let Me Breathe – A Poem

I have poured out my heart
on several stages and pages
but love won’t let me be,
it never departs or diminishes.

I have bailed my heart from the
bars and battles of passions
but love won’t set me free,
It holds me tight with delight.

I sometimes choose to lose,
refusing to wake up and show up
but love won’t let me fail,
it nullifies my flaws to qualify me.

I sometimes give my heart away
to be crushed on thorny altars
but love won’t let me bleed,
it seals and heals me eternally.

My heart has been poisoned
with sweet lies and deadly truths,
but love won’t let me die,
it detoxifies and fortifies me.

Whenever I choose to live out loud,
faking happiness and flaring hope,
love won’t let me breathe,
it buries me till joy blooms again.

Our Diversity Our Dignity

Don’t think too low or too high of yourself.
Be confident but not arrogant,
Be humble but not ignorant.
Adore others but don’t be a sycophant.
Don’t force a fish to fly,
Don’t spur the sparrows to swim.
Don’t compare an ant to an Elephant.
No one is better than you.
No one is inferior to you.
No one is White and no one is Black.
I mix my coffee with milk,
not because of their colours
but the uniqueness of their flavours.
Use a white marker on a whiteboard
and a black pen on a blackboard,
see the essence of diversity and inclusion.
We are more than tags and labels.
We all are exquisite expressions of God.
You are not the colour of your skin,
You are the graces you carry within.
Your value is measured by how you value others.
True wealth is not about affluence but influence.
We are all sacred and significant.
Different flavours, different colours,
There is dignity in diversity.

Declaration of Victory Day 95

And are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Romans 3:24 “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people Luke 1:68 Declare this I am rescued, restored and redeemed, Nothing is permitted to hold me bound. The Life of My Love

‘Amazing Grace’ is the sweetest sound
I have ever heard, next to this is your
voice gently saying “I love you”
while I’m wrapped in your warm embrace.
Today, I want to reassure you
that I love you more.
I love you more than the sweetest
pleasures and the deepest pains of life.
I love you more than the brightest days
and darkest nights we’ll ever see.

You may have been called some sweet and
beautiful names by some deceptive
and unserious lovers but let me reassure you
that you are not my sunshine because
you do not rise in the morning and set at night.
You are not the love of my life
but the life of my love because you are
love expressed in body, soul and spirit.
Your brilliance reminds me of the rainbow

a symbol of grace and heaven’s glow,
you flaunt God’s colour and unravel
His flavour everywhere you go.
Everytime I look into your eyes, I catch
a glimpse of paradise,
now I know that heaven is not a
mysterious place beyond the skies,
but somewhere deep within our hearts,
a place where God rules and reigns.
You are bred from royal and radiant bloodlines
a blend of beauty and bliss far beyond
skylines.

This love that we share is a bed of roses,
I will forever relish its fragrance
and harness the thorns it throws at us.
I need you to understand that the symphony
of your spirit affirms the rhythms of my soul.
Every note, every bar, and every beat
make a matchless melody,
a rhapsody of eternal love, pure and true.
A love made in heaven, assembled on earth and built for eternity.
This is not another love letter but a timely reminder
that you are designed to be desired
and created to be craved.
You are God’s work of art that I love the most.
A masterpiece modelled by the Father, Son and Holy Ghost

Happy Valentine’s Day my friends. Just a quick reminder that whether you are someone’s one and only, or you feel lost and lonely. You are loved by the One who is Love, God. Have fun and don’t lose faith. ❤❤❤How are you doing today?
