Different Sounds One Symphony

The human body comes in different colours but the human soul is colourless, just different flavours of divinity from the Source of life — many graces, one God. We are different verses in one universe.

The world will be distasteful without diversity, and no doubt our world will be in disarray when there is disunity. Imagine a world where everyone has the same talent and trait — no vibe, no versatility, just vibrant souls stuck in a void structure.

We are different spirits vibrating at different frequencies of faith and freedom — configured to be creative, made to manifest limitless possibilities.

Diversity is designed to create room for compassion and creativity. Irrespective of our tongues and tribes, we are created to communicate compassion fluently. Love is our universal language. We all are unique sounds in God’s symphony.

God is very the master builder. Everything He made is a masterpiece. Every creation, every colour and every culture are breathtaking beadworks of His multifaceted glories.

No one is inferior or superior to the other, each one of us is an epitome of eternal excellence — lavished with love, garnished with grace and nurtured with nobility.

God is too beautiful to be expressed in one colour. We all are a part of this divine edifice. Jaw-dropping jewels in a terrific treasure chest. Sparkling stars in a golden galaxy — all shades of love and light.

We all are made in His indelible and ineffable image. We are streams of eternal substance.

“I thank you, High God — You’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvellously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation!”

Where Love is Served – A Poem

There’s poetry in every garden,
a verse in every bloom,
an epic story in every season
that only loving hearts discern.

There’s a song in every stream
as it surges over stones,
there’s a rhyme in every dream
as immortal spirit drones.

and just as there is a spectacle
in every breathing work of art.
there is a matchless miracle
in every pure and generous heart.

just look out for the signs
that magnify the depth of divinity.
and listen for the lines
that amplify the peak of humanity.

Fix your gaze on the marble
where peace is preserved,
secure a choice seat at the table
where legendary love is served.

21 Lessons of 2021

2021 is a year I would consider a defining year for me. I started the year as a homeless and broken man striving to find hope, help, and healing. I went through diverse floods and flames.

At a particular point, I was visiting the hospital frequently till medical bills drained me financially, but through it all, God remained faithful. I lost some vital relationships but I found God in my darkest season, and He introduced me to my true self.

The crushing and pressing of 2021 made me a new wine. I rose from the ashes as pure gold. All thanks to God and the friends who were able to hear the echoes of my silence.

Here are some of the lessons I learned the hard way…

1. Rock bottom is a place of deep discovery and real recovery.

2. Sometimes you feel lost and lonely because God wants you to see Him as your one and only.

3. Be happy to miss those who make your life miserable. Be glad that they showed you that you deserve better.

4. Isolation is one of the greatest preparation for divine manifestation. A seed is buried before it blooms.

5. Sometimes, God allows enemies to surround you because He wants to prepare a table before you in their presence. Don’t focus on the troubles of life, look forward to the ‘table of triumph’.

6. God will sometimes set your comfort zone ablaze so you can move to a growth zone.

7. There is a time to give up, and there is a time to get up and grow up. Giving up is good when it’s done at the right time. We enjoy new beginnings when we enforce necessary endings.

8. Quit! Quit paying attention to the things draining your peace and joy.

9. Two people you must avoid: the people you cannot help and those that can’t help you become a better person. (This has nothing to do with material gains)

10. God can restore wasted years and wipe away fiery tears.

11. Don’t rush into relationships, don’t force friendships. Build yourself to attract valuable and vibrant relationships.

12. Be valuable enough to stand alone. Be responsible enough to attract support.

14. Every season comes with lessons and blessings. Gratitude gives you access to blessings while positive attitude helps you maximize the lessons in every season.

15. Your darkest season may be preparing for your brightest sparkle.

17. You can’t pray away certain pains when you a pregnant with purpose. Prayer will only give you the peace and patience to grow through the painful process.

18. A prosperous life starts with a positive and productive mind.

19. No one owes you anything. You owe yourself everything. Keep growing till you become a magnet of resourceful relationships.

20. You are made to manifest but there are times you need to be hidden in the place of preparation.

21. Your words shape your world. Don’t declare defeat when the fight is still on.
Win with words.

7 WAYS TO CULTIVATE CREATIVITY

1. Dare to be different.

Uniquiness is the fragrance of creativity. One of the ways to steal people’s heart is to stimulate their senses with something spectacular.

2. Take calculated risks

The fear of failure triggers mediocrity. Failure is not the opposite of success, it is one of the main ingredients of success. Don’t be afraid to fail, learn from your mistakes and create masterpieces out of messy pieces. It is risky not to take risk.

3. Plan, Prepare and Practice.

Dream big, start small and pursue excellence. Every tall tree is a product of a small seed that was planted and nurtured over time. Don’t focus on the green grass on the other side. Your grace will get greener when you water the ground with faith, patience and diligence.

4. Brainstorm ideas.

Train your brain to capture possibilities. The most beautiful things in the world are products of creative imaginations. While some men see trees as firewood, some see trees as beautiful furnitures. It takes a creative mind to transform trash to treasure.

5. Challenge yourself

You are a product of possibilities, designed to be ingenious and impactful. However, you can only produce results when you move from comfort zone to growth zone. Creativity requires taking up challenges, making hard choices and effecting drastic changes. Our world is driven on the wheels of change, and change is born when challenges marry good decisions.

6. Set smart goals.

Work with a sense of purpose and priority. A purposeless life is a meaningless life. Innovation requires intentionality. Have a crystal clear purpose for the product you desire to create. Your vision gives more value to your creative abilities. Write down your vision and let it be your driving force always

7. Explore new territories.

Learn from other people’s experiences and tap from their expertise but desire to be a pacesetter. There is nothing new under the sun, but there are newer, better and smarter versions of existing things. Have a mentor but carve a unique niche. Having a coach should not stop you from having a different approach.

Portrait of Possibilities – A Poem

I choose to be a sacred sanctuary.
It does not matter
whether I am a cottage in a slum,
or a castle with a luxury lawn.
Whatever I am,
I will welcome divinity into myself
with arms open wide.
I want heaven’s glow to be evident,
as a signal glimpse of the bliss within me.

If my roof is thatched,
let it be the shadow of the Almighty.
If my tank is half full,
let its content be the water of life.
If all I have left is five loaves of bread,
let it be blessed by Jireh.
I want to hungry, thirsty and desperate
for more of God’s love, light and life.

I want to shine with shalom
when my heart quakes with cares
or when the rod of life breaks my passion
that I silently crash
into a million broken pieces.
A million messy pieces, a million scars
proclaiming God’s mercies
every morning.

I want to lie down in green pastures,
and make God’s promises the pillows
on which I lay my hurting head.
When my thoughts are nothing
but a colourful crown of thorns
that fuels grief and starves my faith,
I will hold them with hope,
and nurture them with truth,
until they evolve into a wreath –
a diadem of grace around my head.

I will not plunge into the pool of self-pity,
panic and pressure.
With joy, I will draw water from the well
of hope and salvation.
Whether the day is dark
or the twilight stars sleep in despair.
God is in this temple, heaven is here.
there is light in tunnels and dark alleys,
there is joy in the valley of shadows.

I am a portrait of possibilities,
I am here to happen, and made to manifest.
I am salt, I am lustrous light,
I am God’s sanctuary.
I am enough.

I Am Enough

I was sauntering,
desperately searching for perfection,
I got broken while passionately trying
to fix this perpetual puzzle.
Who said there is a missing piece?
Who said I need some unravelling?
I wish I had known that I am enough
and everything I crave is within me.

Struggling to prove my worth,
I became blind to my uniqueness.
Some said a facelift is all I needed
to finally find and deploy my gift.
Who said I am broken beyond fixing?
Who said I need to be flawless?
I wish I had known that I am enough
and everything I crave is within me

Craving for validation,
I became a slave to conditional love
starved of authentic attention
till I became bereft of inner bliss.
Now I filter people’s opinion about me
with the lens of pure love and light.
I wish I had known that I am enough
and everything I crave is within me.

With the stars I now see within me
never would I be defined by my scars.
I am weak but not worthless,
even if I’m bleeding, I’m still a blessing.
With wisdom, I will fix the fixable,
I won’t mess it all to mend some.
I wish I had known that I am enough
and everything I crave is within me.

The Uniqueness of You – A Poem

You are not a biological accident,
there’s a purpose for your existence.
None of us is a superficial experiment,
everything about us brews excellence.

More than a bag of flesh, blood and bones,
there is a drop of divinity in your heart.
Never to be traded like gemstones,
you are God’s priceless work of art.

You are made to amplify humanity,
live cheerfully and love out loud.

My Sweet Friend – A Poem

Who taught my weary soul to smile,
and helps me go the extra mile
whose arms of love make me agile?
My sweet friend.

Who gives me pleasure in my pains,
and holds my hands in tough terrains
till I harvest sweet golden grains?
My sweet friend.

Who never leaves me in distress,
and always lifts me out of stress
who always sows seeds of kindness?
My sweet friend.

Never will I this gem deny!
whether I fall, fumble or fly,
our lovely bond will never die.
My sweet friend.

Under the sun and in the rain,
in fiery furnace and fountains
our love will rise, radiate and reign.
My sweet friend.

I love converting happiness and hurts to hymns, I love turning pain and pleasure into poetry. Today, I decided to turn the tales in my head into tributes, eulogizing every sweet soul that has been a blessing to me. Thanks to all my sweet friends and family.
