Tell Your Tough Tales – A Poem

You are not a survivor but a victor,
dare to approve and applaud yourself,
amplify your wins and not your woes.
Tell your tough tales with grit and grace…
see your scars as signatures of victory.
Life got you bent, broken and buried,
yet you thrived through hell and high water,
and turned graves into golden gardens.
You are not a survivor but a victor,
bask in your victory, own your story.

  1. A really powerful approach to reflect upon our stories and the passageways we travel, and the names we give to these pathways.
    Victors instead of survivors.
So often, looking back we ask ourselves how did we survive and not lose our way in this great big world.
Speaking with the voice of a victor we must tell our tough tales. 💪 yes!. 📖

    1. Thank you, Ladonna.

We must pick up the pieces of our hearts broken by life and make a masterpiece with them.

We must rise to the stage of life with healing and hope to tell our stories.

I trust you are having a great day over there.
